Messenger / Alerts

Messenger is a rules-based clinical notification and alerting system.  Virtually any data element can be used for notifications.  The rules are established and controlled by the clinician.

When Messenger receives a value based on the clinicians’ personal profile, the system will notify the clinician, regardless of location, when a significant event occurs. The results are routed to clinicians based on their preferred device. Routing preferences include formats such as a phone with text messaging, text pager and email.
